Imagine you’re like in a party and somebody tells you “somebody died fast we need to go to the funeral” and you’re just like
what the fuck kind of scenario is that
a gatsby party
This might just be one of my favorite things of all time.
This is severely devastating that this scam has erupted ‘again’ on the news, we all know there is something deeper than just simply knowing that someone has used the country’s funds to squander and plunder.
It is the feeling of something undeniable and perpetuating of vile presence. The feeling of anger that your jaws are hurting from the grinding of your teeth like someone is violently being forced to be feed in your veins and soul. You know that you primitively resisted to let it attain, but you also perceived along with the others weakened that all of you are helpless, not knowing where to begin and how to stop this corrupt that is inherently also inside you.
I am a Filipino and this is not how I want to see my self, or others to see me, somewhat masochist, overly deranged, allowing anyone to stab my face and hug me at the same time.
Someday we’ll all suffer the consequences of corruption and the ‘bahala na’ or ‘manyana’ habit or the crab mentality that we institute. This is something that happens to us believing that we are hopeless and we should just ride the boat together and allow ourselves to drown and not even try to quicken or shrug. Letting ourselves be paralyzed by our despair, our what if’s, by our inconsolable maneuver to anything we cannot because we believe we are worn out to do so and we are not capable of stopping this infamy that is devouring us.
Thank you for reading this ‘sublime satire’ but I’ll be more than happy to see you respect your country just like how you wanted to be respected. It all will start and end through us, we just have to put our faith to God. You do not mistreat the obscure but you should never ratify the malefic to triumph.
You;re now my new fashion ICON! muwah! Love yah!
